    “The Gregg Russell Story is a feature-length documentary that showcases the legacy of a man who’s dedicated his life to entertaining and caring for thousands of families through his performances. After working as a performer at Disney World, Gregg Russell was randomly asked to pick up his guitar and perform a show in Hilton Head, South Carolina under an old oak tree. 46 years later, you can still find him there, strumming that old guitar and making generations of families laugh.

    It is our aim to preserve the legacy of this great man and highlight the generational impact he has had, not only through his music but also through his charitable endeavors (Hilton Head Heroes). Hear about the life and legacy of Gregg Russell from people like Jim Nantz (Legendary Sportscaster), Jay Demarcus (Grammy Award Winner and Member of Rascal Flatts) and Stan Smith (Legendary Tennis Player).

    Five days before Christmas, Xander Point stands divided on whether their legendary lighthouse will continue to operate. Beloved caretakers, Pastor Ian and his therapist wife, Colleen, are informed by Mayor James that the council voted to demolish the landmark and construct contemporary lodging to attract more visitors to the seaside town.
    As Colleen prepares to spend her last Christmas at the lighthouse, her best friend, Bree, returns home for the holidays. Troubled about her engagement to Colton and still mourning the loss of her true love, Jacob, whom she believes was killed in action years earlier, she seeks guidance from Colleen. At different times, Bree believes she sees Jacob walking about town.     Written and Produced by Scott Reeves, the series features interviews and testimonials from key figures such as the renowned Frankie San, the CIU Prison Initiative, Prison Fellowship, Kairos, and other influential organizations and individuals. Viewers get an inside look at their groundbreaking efforts to reform the criminal justice system and provide support to inmates and former death row inmates.

    Through powerful narratives shared by volunteers and those who have experienced the system firsthand, "The Recidivism Series" aims to inspire and highlight the impact of these remarkable organizations and individuals in helping to transform lives, reduce recidivism rates, and create positive change in South Carolina's criminal justice system.

The movie was exclusively shot in the beautiful state of South Carolina, providing a stunning backdrop for the heartwarming story.
