Specialized Post Production

While working on a film project that would be eventually shown nationwide, the Fisher Films team received a high compliment from the Director of Photography, when the team revealed continuity issues during a Revolutionary War scene. Green tape on the bottom of a cup, orange security cones in the background, light bulbs added during the refurbishing of an early American home. All simple issues that could have easily gone undetected, but the Fisher Films team caught them before the final edit. With a smile of gratitude, the photographer said, “The devil is in the details”.

Fisher Films exerts the same amount of effort into post-production as they do pre-production and production, if not more. Once the film goes public, post-production is over. The film is in the can. Professionals trust Fisher Films for post-production because the devil is in the details. Continuity is only part of the post-production process. There is non-linear editing, color grading, compositing, and motion graphics in which Fisher Films refines on a daily basis.

Every project great or small comes down to the final cut. That’s why Fisher Films uses Final Cut Pro X to craft every campaign, short film, music video, documentary, or feature film for the final edit. The design of the actual story is crafted with the hands of their skilled film editors. Cut after cut, piece by piece, the editor creates the style, tone, and mood of the production. Fisher Films understands the sensitivity of their customer's brand, company, and message they want to convey to their target audience. Color grading plays a significant part in setting tone. Fisher Films uses a mix of DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro X to color grade every scene, rendering a spectacular image on screen.

Major companies today use some form of motion graphics in all of their promotions. Fisher Films works extensively with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop to complete its compositing and motion graphics for all their major projects.
