Molding poetic lyrics of a song with the vibrant visuals of film completes the template of a music video. Musical artists want to share their story on film soon after their music is released. Musicians discover Fisher Films to be a valid resource in the competitive world of music video.
Before becoming a singer and songwriter for the Dutch sensation, THE COMMON LINNETS, Jake Etheridge trusted Fisher Films with his band’s single, WAR SONG. Director Stephen Fisher developed the concept for the music video. With green lights given to many storyboards, locations, and casting, full production of WAR SONG began. Fisher Films worked closely with Historic Camden to accurately recreate scenes from the revolutionary war period. Tons of historically accurate clothing and props were donated to add to the authenticity of this music video. A fleet of Canon 7d cameras and Zeiss cinema lenses were used to make sure not one second of action was missed once the band began to live out their story. After three days and two different locations, WAR SONG became a visual anthem that continues to echo in the U.S. and the U.K.
Tony Byroads transitioned himself from being a singer, songwriter, and musician for the rock band CROSSFADE to embark on a solo career. Armed with his debut song CHANGE, Tony selected Fisher Films to show the world his new vision. With Tony in the director’s chair, Fisher Films provided locations, set design, makeup, and casting to complete the vision. After the release of his single and music video, everyone knew Tony Byroads made a CHANGE.
