Daniel attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Film Studies. He and his brother Stephen conceptualized and built Fisher Films in 2011. Daniel has worked with numerous marketing and video production agencies throughout Columbia SC, and has also worked on major Hollywood productions. With an extensive background in Cinematography and Camera work, he ensures a specific, individualized tone for each project, guaranteeing a unique footprint for each client. Daniel has had the opportunity to produce, direct and live Switch for television broadcast in South Carolina and Washington D.C. Beyond marketing and commercial production, Daniel has enjoyed success from narrative film writing, directing and production. He has directed and produces several short films that have all won awards in their respective categories. He has maintained years of strong recognition from The National Fine Arts Festival in Orlando, FL, for his film, “The Message.” Daniel was recently named Best Emerging Filmmaker by the Expecting Goodness Film Festival in South Carolina.
Not only does Daniel love the hands-on production of movies, he also enjoys classic Hollywood and early cinema history. His passion for the art of filmmaking and knowledge of classic cinema has opened up the opportunity for him to teach classes on: film production, scriptwriting, film history and film theory across South Carolina.
